I'm following along with Susan Bradleys post at AskWoody (https://www.askwoody.com/newsletter/ms-defcon-2-feature-releases-can-be-managed/ ) and I am ready to upgrade from 10 to 11. If I install InControl using Win10 can I specify that the upgrade (when it happens) is limited to 24H2 (and not 25)?

BootAble – FreeDOS boot testing freeware
To obtain direct, low-level access to a system's mass storage drives, SpinRite runs under a GRC-customized version of FreeDOS which has been modified to add compatibility with all file systems. In order to run SpinRite it must first be possible to boot FreeDOS.
GRC's “BootAble” freeware allows anyone to easily create BIOS-bootable media in order to workout and confirm the details of getting a machine to boot FreeDOS through a BIOS. Once the means of doing that has been determined, the media created by SpinRite can be booted and run in the same way.
The participants here, who have taken the time to share their knowledge and experience, their successes and some frustrations with booting their computers into FreeDOS, have created a valuable knowledgebase which will benefit everyone who follows.

InControl has two inputs:
The Windows version: 10 or 11
The Feature version: 22H2 (for example)
So input 11 and 24H2 and you are good to go. InControl will now allow upgrading to Win 11 24H2 but no further.
Unless/until you subsequently change InControl's settings.

When I reformatted my computer last year, I limited it to Windows 11 23h2. Just recently I changed it to 24h2.
