Nice thread. I'd totally forgotten about the lovely little “Drive Image”. It was my earliest "go to" tool, but more back in the Win98 days. I'm sure I still have it around here somewhere. But the flexibility that's offered by TeraByte's “Image for Windows” (and Image-for-everything else) keeps me from wandering from it.
It is also nicely commanded from the command line, and it will make incremental backups by referencing one “whole backup” image. So I have scheduler tasks that launch it weekly in the wee hours of the morning to produce small “delta” captures against the last full backup.
