SpinRite Question

First, I apologize if this should have been posted elsewhere. The Off-Topic Lounge seemed to be my only forum location option for this post.

Anyway, I am trying to use my copy of SpinRite v6 to fix my wife's Lenovo ThinkPad/Windows10.

Booting using my SpinRite USB only results in a message:

"Bad or missing command interpreter: 2"

Any thoughts appreciated.

Heya @davterra welcome to the forums. For now you're in the only place, so de facto the right place :) It's possible something is wrong with your existing SpinRite USB. If you have access to another (or a new) USB stick I would like to encourage you to download @Steve's InitDisk utility here: https://www.grc.com/initdisk.htm and then use it on the new USB stick. Then copy your copy of SpinRite onto that new USB disk and try booting it. SpinRite won't automatically launch or anything, but you should be able to get a DOS prompt and then enter the spinrite command to start it up. Let us know, here, how that goes, if you would.
