I noted that initdisk freedos contains the history command that shows a list with command history.

From Linux I know that history is stored in a file. And show distribution boot CD's contain a list of handy commands in history preloaded.

I preferr less typing.

Thus after the command prompt shows, I wish to press "key up" and there should be spinrite. Or once more "key up" and there should appear spinrite diags.

Is there a way to preload the Freedos history from file?
Or to use a command in autoexec.bat on every boot that loads some commands in Freedos history?
